Your ceremony takes place within a carefully chosen private venue, selected for its natural beauty, atmosphere, and compatibility with your chosen Romance style. Each setting is styled exclusively for your time slot, ensuring privacy and the feeling of a bespoke event.
Legals & Ceremony
A registered celebrant and full coordination are included to make your marriage official and effortless. Your 1.5-hour private ceremony is hosted by our team, complete with music, seating, and all required legal documentation
Styling & Florals
Each wedding is brought to life through editorial-quality styling and florals, created by our in-house team and leading local creatives. Your bouquet will be unique to you
Hair & Makeup
On the day, our professional beauty team provides hair and makeup services for the couple, ensuring you look and feel your best. Artists are selected for their experience in luxury and editorial styling, creating a polished, natural result that lasts throughout the celebration.
Editorial Photography & Video Content
Every ceremony includes professional editorial photography, capturing your most important moments in timeless, magazine-quality imagery. In addition, our team provides video phone content coverage for your entire experience, from pre-ceremony preparation to post-ceremony celebrations. Food and alcohol
Following the ceremony, you and your guests enjoy a dining experience at one of Byron's amazing restaurants. Led by acclaimed chefs and hospitality professionals, each menu is curated with seasonal produced and is served with a drinks package that will keep you and your guest full and merry.
Invitation & Guest management
Your Save the Date and digital invitations are designed and managed by our team to match your chosen style. We manage all RSVPs, dietary preferences, and logistics on your behalf. Clear communication and detailed coordination ensure that every guest has a smooth, memorable experience from start to finish.
Transportation
Guest transport is completely taken care of. We provide transfers from a central meeting point to the ceremony venue, then on to the reception, ensuring a seamless flow and stress-free experience for everyone.

BOOK IN A CALL WITH US TODAY
Can I invite more than 25 people?
Yes, you can invite up to 40 guests (for an additional fee). We’ll organise the seating, styling, and invitations so everything remains cohesive with your chosen style.
What is included for food and beverages?
All weddings with A Modern Romance include a beautifully curated dining experience paired with your chosen aesthetic. Your reception dining comes from one of our exclusive partner restaurants and bars — each offering a modern, seasonal set menu.

Menus vary slightly by reception location, and once you’ve chosen yours, we’ll share the exact food and drinks list so you know precisely what’s included.
What are the venues
Each aesthetic is paired with a private property chosen specifically for the look, light, and atmosphere of that style.

These aren’t public venues or commercial wedding spaces. They’re private, design-forward locations that create the exact mood of the aesthetic. To protect the privacy of the properties, we don’t publicly share the addresses.

However, once you reserve your date and timeslot, we share the location details, photos, and access plan with you.

What we can reassure you is:

• They comfortably fit your full 40-person wedding

You’re welcome to ask questions during your consultation call, and we can share images and further details there.
How many hours do we get for the wedding?
Each wedding is designed as a beautifully-timed experience. You’ll have 1.5 hours to enjoy your ceremony and photography. 0.5 hours to travel to the reception and then you have another 2.5 - 3 hours for the dining reception.
What can we customise?
You can customise the things that matter: your bouquet,  your makeup and hair, your vows , your wording and music for the ceremony and your invitations. These are the elements that personalise your ceremony.
How does the process work?
Choose your preferred style and submit an enquiry. We then finalise guest numbers and personal touches during a call. Then, once you've signed the agreement and pay a 10% deposit to secure your date, we communicate the wedding details to your guests, starting with the "Save the date" invitations. Three months before the wedding, we will begin consultations for your bouquet, hair and makeup, and your ceremony wording (if you have a preference for these elements).
What if we don’t know our final guest list yet?
That’s completely normal. We just need estimated numbers to start. Final names and email addresses are only required closer to your date for invitations.
What if we’re not in Byron Bay?
Many couples plan from interstate. Everything is organised for you, and we provide a seamless digital planning experience. You only need to show up on the day.
How do I know what exactly is included?
All design decisions will be shared with you throughout the journey. This includes the venue, the styling choices of flowers, colours, set up. We will provide you with the details once you book in a consultation with us.
